The largest prime-time star of Fox News Channel, Tucker Carlson, has departed from the cable news network.
In a statement, Fox News announced, "FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have mutually agreed to part ways. We express our gratitude to him for his service as a host and, prior to that, as a contributor."
The statement further revealed that "Tucker Carlson Tonight" has aired its final episode with Mr. Carlson on April 21st. In the meantime, the network has arranged a temporary show called "Fox News Tonight" to be hosted by various rotating Fox News personalities until a new host is appointed.
