Lincoln Airport Announces New Jet Service to Seven Destinations

Red Way, the Lincoln Airport, GlobalX Air Tours, LLC, and Global Crossing Airlines, Inc. have announced a new air service that will depart directly from Lincoln to multiple destinations.

Flights will be operated by GlobalX Air Tours using a fleet of Airbus A320 or A321 aircraft and will offer amenities such as food and beverage purchases. Passengers can choose between basic economy or premium options that include perks like spacious legroom and additional baggage.

The initial destinations include Orlando, Las Vegas, Dallas-Fort Worth, Nashville, Austin, Atlanta, and Minneapolis. The flights are now available for purchase on the Red Way company's website. According to David Haring, executive director of the Lincoln Airport Authority, bringing an operator to LNK dedicated to providing service for the community will create new job opportunities and make air travel more convenient for the people of Nebraska.

Global Crossing Airlines Chairman & CEO, Ed Wegel, expressed his excitement about working with LNK and Red Way to provide convenient options directly from the local airport. “Lincoln and the surrounding areas foster an energy and sense of community that we knew would be critical to what we wish to achieve. We want to uplift the community, while helping to fuel the local economy. The size and continued growth of Lincoln is impressive and supportive of a robust air service network. The community deserves the convenience of more options directly from their local airport. We are thrilled to be able to work with LNK and Red Way to provide that.”
