Lincoln Woman Facing Multiple First Degree Murder Charges

New and upgraded charges have been brought against a Lincoln woman who allegedly killed two men by running them over with her car.

Bradley

Taylor Bradley, 27, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder (originally booked on two counts of second-degree murder) and three counts of using a deadly weapon to commit a felony, as well as an additional count of attempted first-degree murder for trying to hit a third person with her car.

Bradley vehemently denied the charges during her arraignment and was heard shouting expletives at the judge via video conference from jail.

The incident occurred at The Lodge Apartments on Monday afternoon, where Bradley allegedly ran over two maintenance workers, Chris Karmazin and Ronald Gonzalez, and provided descriptions of them to officers that matched their bodies at the scene.

In a press conference, Lincoln Police Chief Teresa Ewins described the case as “complex” but said officers believed there was “intent” in Bradley’s alleged actions. In the affidavit, an officer said they came to that conclusion because the area where the men were run over was 20-30 yards away from any road or driveway designed for driving.

The police have described the case as complex but believe that Bradley had the intent to cause harm, as the area where the incident took place was not designed for driving. A judge has set Bradley's bond at 10% of $2 million.

Karmazin leaves behind a wife and three children. A GoFundMe page was set up to help the family. Ronald Gonzalez’s wife, Georgina, said she's heartbroken by the loss of the man she was with for 15 years.
