An accident between a motorcycle and an SUV in Lincoln on Tuesday afternoon resulted in the death of one person.
The Lincoln Police Department reported that a man, whose identity has not been revealed, was riding his motorcycle southbound on N 84th St. when it collided with an SUV that was turning left from the northbound lane onto Holdrege. The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the SUV, killing the driver.
The police confirmed that the SUV driver was unharmed, but the passenger had minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. The investigation is still ongoing, and the victim's family has yet to be notified.
