(Antelope County, Neb.) - A St. Paul woman is dead as a result of a car accident at the intersection of Highway 14/20 in rural Antelope County.

The Nebraska State Patrol has reported that Antoinette Kowalski, a 53-year-old woman from St. Paul, has passed away due to a car accident in Antelope County. The incident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 14, located about 40 miles northwest of Norfolk.
According to the NSP, Kowalski was driving a Ford Edge southbound on Highway 14 when her vehicle failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 20. As a result, her car was struck by a semi pulling a tanker trailer.
Sadly, Kowalski was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. The driver of the semi was fortunately uninjured.
